Job Description:
Resolve personnel and support problems as necessary; Adjust responsibilities, practices and procedures as necessary to achieve optimum efficiency of the PharmNet support personnel. Oversee development, documentation, implementation and maintenance of PharmNet project policies and procedures -- Works with vendor(s) to ensure that project gets done on time and within budget; Ensure that vendors' contracts are properly executed and that vendors adhere to terms and conditions of the agreements; Validate vendor invoices and coordinate with AP for payment when necessary; Provide training/orientation to users, management, help desk, analysts and technical personnel as necessary; Asset management and tracking; Ensure appropriate software licensing; Develop and maintain instructions and recommended procedures including special instructions, troubleshooting procedures, user contacts, etc.; Help develop and maintain standards for design, coding, documentation, testing, Support, maintenance, etc.; Establish portions of the project budget, monitor and approve expenditures. -- Review, analysis and definition of the PharmNet clinical requirements facilitated by the clinical-based computer applications. Current processes and functions are documented and analyzed. Communications, data conversion, training, documentation and implementation requirements are evaluated and determined during this phase.
