Job Description:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Maintenance Tech skill set. Ability to walk out and design small extensions. Working knowledge of NESC rules and regulations relating to CATV plant. Working knowledge of State and Local highway CATV construction regulations and procedures. Understanding of basic rf plant powering. Understanding of basic aerial and underground CATV construction practices and procedures. Mostly outdoors, occasionally in subscriber home attic and crawl spaces. Climbing on ladders and poles occasionally also. Some office work is required. Shift and/or On-call may be required. Company vehicle, telephone, 2-way radio, signal meters, hand tools, CLI detectors, ladders. Must have valid driver's license with good driving record. May operate bucket truck. Lift and carry up to 75 pounds, including extension ladders. Able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions, including temperature extremes.
