Job Description:
Department for our steel product manufacturing client; develop, improve and maintain the product line; calculate pressure vessels/frames; develop and communicate building spec for Production; specify materials to be ordered by Procurement; and develop and lead the engineering staff. Successful candidates MUST HAVE a BSME (preferably with concentration in heat exchange/heat transfer), at least 10 years engineering and design experience, including at least 5 years of this experience in construction design and serial production and 3 years managing and developing staff members. Also Required: solid knowledge of ASME BPVC VIII/1, ASTM and ANSI regulations and their uses, good knowledge of welded construction, good knowledge of U.S. regulations pertaining to bearing structure/steel construction, and solid computer literacy, especially in Autocad 2D (preferably Autocad 3D or SolidWorks), MathCad and MS Excel (preferably with VBA programming).
