Job Description:
Responsible to the Nurse Manager, Registered Nurse and / or Medical Provider for provision of care to patients in the Domiciliary Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program. The LPN demonstrates independent technical judgment with minimal supervision, as well as maintains a comprehensive and thorough working knowledge of the most complex and difficult practices and procedures. The Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) is a two campus, comprehensive Health Care System that provides a broad range of inpatient and outpatient health care services. Outpatient care is also provided at 2 community-based outpatient clinics located in Dothan Alabama and Columbus Georgia . The Health Care System is part of Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 7 and serves a veteran population of more than 134,000 in a primary service area that includes 43 counties in the central and southeastern portions of Alabama and western Georgia. KEY REQUIREMENTS: U. S. Citizenship Current, full, active, unrestricted License Must pass pre-employment physical Education Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required. Background and/or Security Investigation required.
