Job Description: To provide leadership and direction to the patient care function at Christ Medical Center and Hope Children's Hospital. Responsible for the consistency of clinical practice and to ensure high quality patient care, physician integration, customer satisfaction, associate satisfaction and an increase in market share. To create an environment for patient care delivery that is characterized by responsiveness, fiscal responsibility, and high quality associate relations.Accountabilities:1. Provision of leadership in planning, development, and marketing high quality, cost effective and customer-centered nursing care services.2. Improves physician satisfaction with nursing services, programs, and resources available at Christ Medical Center/Hope Children?s Hospital.3. Strategically ensures the continued delivery of high quality, state-of-the art patient care and services in all facets of hospital operations at Christ Medical Center/Hope Children's Hospital.4. Leadership in evaluating the practice of clinical care at Christ Medical Center/Hope Children?s Hospital.5. Leadership in promoting and developing effective relationships with other health care, business, and community organizations.6. Ensures development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations and laws.
