REGISTERED NURSE FOR SILVER TEAM PRINCIPAL CARE NURSE/CASE MANAGERSalary Range: 50,232.00 - 96,678.00 USD per year Key Requirements: Specialized Education U.S. Citizenship Licensure, Certification, or Registration required. Must pass pre-employment examination. Background and/or Security Investigation required. Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required. Major Duties: Responsible and accountable for the nursing triage/physical assessment, documentation, and safe nursing care for patients with a variety of conditions and medical complaints. Responsible for providing, coordinating, organizing, and planning overall cares for team patients. Highly flexible to assignment, role and duty hours. Timely, accurate, and comprehensive electronic patient cares documentation. Collaborates with other members of the health team so as to assure optimal levels of patient care and functioning of the clinic. Maintains effective working relationships with patients, clinical staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Participates in formal and informal education of patients and their families. Actively participates in Unit Based Governance Team assignments and other committees as assigned. Actively supports VAMC House Rules and Customer Service Standards.Qualifications:You must possess a year of general work experience that shows your ability to perform progressively more complex, responsible, or difficult duties; and that shows your ability to learn the specific work of this job.You must have one year of specialized experience at a level close to the work of this job that has given you the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform. Typically we would find this experience in work within this field or a field that is closely related.To qualify based on education, submit copy of transcript or list of courses with credit hours, major(s), and grade-point average or class ranking.
