Job Description:
OFF TOUR/WEEKEND SUPERVISOR Salary Range: 50,232.00 - 96,678.00 USD per year Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required. Background and/or Security Investigation required. Major Duties: Represents the Chief, Nursing Service in the administrative operation of the specific areas where Nursing Service personnel are employed. Makes clinical rounds to ensure appropriate nursing practices are adhered to and quality nursing care is being provided. Oversees the procurement of special equipment and/or supplies in an emergency. Serves as a member of the Cardiac Arrest Team. Assigns personnel to meet patient care needs. Support Nursing Education programs on evenings and nights. Plans in-service as needed. Assists with the orientation of new personnel. Counsels individuals as required. Receive report form each ward and determines data necessary to report to the Chief Nurse Executive. Is administratively responsible to the Associate Chief Nurse for Nursing Services. Qualifications:You must possess a year of general work experience that shows your ability to perform progressively more complex, responsible, or difficult duties; and that shows your ability to learn the specific work of this job.You must have one year of specialized experience at a level close to the work of this job that has given you the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform. Typically we would find this experience in work within this field or a field that is closely related.
