Job Description:
The ideal candidate will work on all facets related to planning and opening new retail stores. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Oversee retail store openings ranging from 25,000 to 150,000 square feet. Includes building, set-up, implementation, and all other tasks related to store openings. * Manage a staff of project architects to insure deliverables to internal and external clients. * Manage the due diligence process and construction document phase. Requirements Qualifications: * Registered architectural license. * Total and complete knowledge of AutoCAD version 2004 and newer with minimum of 5 years directly working with AutoCAD on a daily basis. * 5 - 8 years experience conducting on-site surveys and drawing plans. * Minimum of 3-5 years experience working on retail projects. * Understanding of the process of developing a project from conceptual stage through completed construction drawings. * Proven ability to make architectural decisions independently. * Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibility. * Extremely developed project management skills are necessary. * Ability to follow up and complete projects ahead of schedule and under budget. * Proven work ethic. * Demonstrated ability to work long hours. * Proven track record of extraordinary results. * Extensive knowledge of the entitlement and permitting process.
