Must be experienced in architectural design, detailing and documentation of new building, restoration and renovation projects.* Proficient in AutoCad 2004 (or higher version) and Microsoft Word/Excel.* Ability to supervise an architectural staff on multiple projects, provide adequate management, technical advice and support to members of the project team and ensure that work is completed as planned & scheduled. * Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills. Candidate will be required to have the skills to clearly communicate with client & URS peers, and provide clear direction to staff working under their direction. Must also be able to document and present work to team & clients in a clear and concise manner.* Must be able to work well with clients, staff and consultants.* Valid Driver's license. Job Description : In this position, candidate will report to a Senior Project Manager, who is managing a national federal contract. Candidate will be responsible for the design & production of buildings prepared by the Wayne Architectural Group for this project. Candidate will also be involved in a variety of projects types, including new construction, renovations and restoration work for a major federal client. Projects may be local or national, with varying degrees of complexities and challenges.Responsibilities / Objectives* Develop preliminary designs.* Prepare design and construction documents, including specifications.* Process & review shop drawings.* Direct project production staff.* Provide in-house & field support in the administration of projects during construction.* Assist with project budgets, administration and schedules.* Frequent travel to client/field sites.Will be required to clearly communicate with client and URS management, as well as provide clear direction to URS staff working under their direction.
