Accurately interprets messages from others and responds appropriately. Decision Making Recognizes a wide range of potentially difficult issues, problems, or opportunities in own work group, across the organization and occasionally with external customers; determines whether action is needed. Identifies the need for and collects information to better understand difficult issues, problems, and opportunities. Allocates appropriate amounts of time for completing own work; avoids scheduling conflicts. Takes advantage of available resources (individuals, processes, departments, and tools) to complete work efficiently; coordinates with internal and external partners. Uses time effectively and prevents irrelevant issues or distractions from interfering with work completion. Technical: Assembly Process Complete knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities (e.g., composites, structures).Customer Knowledge Complete knowledge of techniques to help identify a customer's organization, capabilities, practices, support resources, preferences, problems, and other constraints in order to provide effective product support and technical issue resolution. General Shop Processes Complete knowledge of shop processes to include Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). Operational Processes Complete knowledge of the responsibilities and tasks performed by various Operations departments/disciplines (e.g., Fabrication, Assembly, Tooling, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering). Complete knowledge of the interactions between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-operations processes (e.g., Engineering, Business, Logistics). Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's and 6 to 9 years' related work experience, a Master's degree and 4 to 7 years' related work experience.
