Job Description:
- An established company in the Columbus area is seeking a senior-level developer/analyst to provide technical leadership through an SAP implementation and beyond.
- The senior developer will gather requirements and design system architecture to meet business requirements and resolve production problems.
- The person in this position will be responsible for addressing SAP integration and compatibility issues and optimizing data access and resource utilization.
- The senior developer will guide junior SAP professionals, coordinate with other IT teams, and work directly with users to develop solutions to corporate objectives.
- Will be relied upon to create technical road maps and research new tools and products that meet business needs.
- Strong experience with SAP and ABAP development is required
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to excel in a team environment
- Must have an understanding of the design and construction of information architecture that allows for the management and analysis of historical data.
- This is a technical position, but successful candidates will have an understanding of the business perspective.
- BS or AS in Information Systems or related field is strongly preferred.
- Must be local to the greater Columbus area.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
