We have been retained by our client, in their search for 3 Applications Developers there are full time permanent opportunities. Located in Albany, NY.
Salary range is $55-68K, negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development, testing, implementation, enhancement and maintenance of the new core processing system applications and custom code.
Will collaborate with company customers, staff, IT colleagues and other stakeholders to analyze customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and present solutions collaborates with company customers, staff, IT colleagues and other stakeholders to analyze customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and present solutions.
• Participates in the maintenance and development of applications and/or processes.
• Share leadership on an IT project team responsible for the analysis and design of enhancements in support of stakeholder requirements.
• Create technical documentation in support of application/process changes

• Assess available technologies and recommend best practice solutions
• Provide after hours on call support
• Support the Help Desk in the resolution of call tickets
Required Experience/Education:
• Seeking a minimum of 3-5 years experience in developing and/or maintaining complex web applications required
• Ideal candidate BA or BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Experience with Object Oriented development methodology required.
• Experience with C# or VB.Net, ASP.Net, Java script, HTML, XML, ASP, VB6 and relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server) required.
• Knowledge of Visual Studio development languages as well as SQL required.
• Experience with application security required.
• Experience in the area of systems analysis and writing program specifications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills required
Ideal candidate will possess:
• Experience designing, developing and implementing scalable, distributed n-tier architectures using Design Patterns and Microsoft solutions.
• Prior programming experience with threads, synchronization required.
• Experience with software applications or firmware associated with Printers, Scanners, and MFPs
• Exposure in use and configuration of SNMP-managed networks, MIBs
• Exposure to LDAP, Active Directory
• MCSD or MCDBA certification
