Job Description:
Responsible for directing and coordinating the Production, Sanitation, and Warehouse Departments. Functions include coordination of efforts between various plant departments, maintaining maximum productivity in departments while maintaining a good working atmosphere. Duties include; management of hourly union labor force through supervisors and managers; coordinates with the QA, Purchasing and Maintenance departments to maintain efficient operation of the facility; enforcement of plant GMP\'s, safety and quality requirements for production; and, participation or direction in meeting Local, State, and Federal regulatory requirements. Requirements: Successful candidate must have Bachelors degree in Production Management, Business, or related field of study, or equivalent experience. Candidates also require food manufacturing experience of 5 to 10 years with a high degree of knowledge and expertise in Production, Packaging, Processing, Quality Control and Labor Relations.
