Job Description:

Develops appropriate staffing and processes to support the reduction / elimination of variation, enhance productivity, and increase the overall efficiency of the Operations organization. Plans, organizes, and manages the allocation of department personnel to support the needs of Operations Quality. Establishes, monitors, and drives the business strategies and objectives for Manufacturing Quality at the assigned facility. Provides guidance to the Operations team on concerns related to the manufacturing quality disciplines. Manages the development and execution of continual improvement programs to reduce variation in the manufacturing processes at assigned facility. Reviews departmental skills and core competencies and provides appropriate training. Conducts tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations as well as company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws, including, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies published on the company network. Trains and motivates team members in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Required is a Bachelor\'s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and two years of experience as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer or Graduate Research Assistant. As part of the experience being required, the applicant must have had: experience in analyzing, designing, developing and implementing process improvements in a manufacturing environment; experience with quality control and electronic manufacturing processes; experience with identifying and implementing Kaizen and 5S improvements, performing capability studies, performing internal audits, and updating existing documentation to illustrate changes in procedures, materials and standards; and experience in performing internal audits and updated existing documentation to illustrate changes in procedures, materials and standards to comply with QS regulations.
