Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager . The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement of in-house and outsourced manufacturing processes and the cost and reliability of product designs as well as maintaining manufacturing process measures, test equipment, documentation, and time standards. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving structured lean initiatives, cost reductions and product reliability improvement initiatives, supporting new product development, and supply-chain improvement initiatives. BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other applicable technical degree required. MS desired. Leadership experience required with at least five years of manufacturing engineering process support including hands-on lean experience. Background in manufacturing of printed circuit board assembly highly desired (experience with either direct process support or outsourced vendor management acceptable) in addition to plastic injection molding experience. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices is required. The successful candidate must have proven leadership skills and ability to work well with cross-functional departments. Must have working knowledge of ISO 9001:2000. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with required skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and preferred skills in CAD, MS Project, MS Visio and Oracle.
