Job Description:
 A supplier of traditional and digital print, promotional products, and supply chain services seeks a Developer. The candidate will be responsible for writing Korn shell scripts and interactive programs on UNIX platforms. Analyze input data and application specifications. Review the technical specifications/design document for new projects. Develop logic flows and data flow diagrams for customer applications. Analyze, develop, revise, and refine customer applications as required. Develop unit test specs, conduct unit test, and resolve issues. Interface with account management and composition/graphic designers. Test, debug, and document customer applications. Work with Business Development group on issues relating to programming requirements, interpreting customer needs, determining job feasibility. Assist Business Development group in the preparation of programming specifications. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer Sciences or 3+ years’ programming experience in related professional field. Required Programming skills: C, Korn shell, PERL. Experience manipulating most data types including: fixed and delimited raw data formats, XML, HTML, print image formats, PCL, Postscript, Metacode. Experience working with SQL Query language , XSL, XSLT is desirable. Should have knowledge of development methodology and experience with developing prototypes Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users. Preferred qualifications: Experience with database and web interface design; familiarity with the functionality of the Xerox Docuprint and Oce printers; experience with Emtex, Compuset, XSL, Presort software; technical and operational knowledge of the mailing industry.
