Job Description:
 A Fortune 500 company seeks a seeks a Senior Applications Developer with 3+ years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, ASP and SQL Server. The candidate will be responsible for application maintenance and enhancement, defect identification and resolution, managing and prioritizing workload, participation in code review. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Collaborate with system/business analysts during requirements gathering, providing guidance on writing technical specs. Model practices that ensure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies/practices. Monitor and provide feedback on project status - anticipating/identifying challenges regarding project goals; implementing corrections where needed. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and IT team members to meet expected customer service levels. Assist in enhancing application development standards. Troubleshoot a variety of complex issues and identify solutions within broad applications and functional expertise. Regularly provide input to define and implement conceptual issues. The candidate should have B.A./B.S. degree, with a concentration in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience. Should have strong understanding of object oriented application design and relational databases. Working knowledge of web services is required. Knowledge of XML technologies preferable. Experience in dealing with interaction between host and web systems a plus. Previous experience in mortgage or finance industry is helpful. Experience with various computer platforms and application environments is a must.
