Job Description:
Objective
The incumbent supports and troubleshoots company information technology.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Install, configure and upgrade operating systems and software
•Install, assemble and configure computers, network infrastructure and peripherals
•Troubleshoot problems with computer systems including hardware, software, email, network and peripheral equipment
•Act as technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data
•Provide IT support of end users over the phone, through email or in person
Job Requirements:
Requirements & Competencies
•Ability to independently support and troubleshoot MS Windows operating system and software
•Must be customer support oriented
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•A+, MCP, MCDST, MCSA, MCSE, or any other relevant certification desired
Education & Experience
•Bachelor’s degree and/or experience preferred
Physical Demands of Work Environment
•This position is located in a typical office environment, as such you may be exposed to the following:
oExtended periods of sitting or standing.
oExtended and continuous use of office equipment including computer, copier, fax machine, and telephone.
oIntermittent periods of reaching, stooping, kneeling, and/or crawling
oNoise levels consistent with a busy office
