Job Description:


Successful candidate will ensure that all arriving and departing guests are treated with maximum courtesy and are served expeditiously, maintain continuous liaison with management, Reservations desk and Housekeeping staff to guarantee that guests are receiving quality services that exceed their expectations, be alert to potential problems and malfunctions of hospitality services and make on-the-spot corrections, participate with other members of management in developing plans to deliver special services to selected targeted markets. Will respond to and resolve guest issues, work with department managers to ensure that expenses are in line, monitor departmental schedule and labor costs, assist in training of associates, answer and dispatch calls - hotel expert, log and follow up on guest requests. Previous hotel supervisory experience preferred. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years of hotel operations experience required College Degree PreferredAbility to communicate in the English language in both verbal and written form required Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required Previous Hotel supervisory experience overseeing Union employees necessary. Front Desk experience a plusAbility to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs. Ability to work a full shift 8-10 hours standing with or without reasonable accommodation. Other requirements:- Must enjoy working with people and be able to handle and anticipate all guest's needs. - Must be dynamic, energetic, self-motivated.
