Job Description:
The Divisional Director of Dining Services oversees Regional Directors of Dining Services and provides training and consultation to senior housing communities in the Dining Services. The ideal candidate will offer hands-on and distance training in all areas of food and dining operations such as: Leads and motivates Regional Directors & on-site dining services management staff to achieve operating efficiencies in quality of service, food and beverage, resident satisfaction and financial performance Has Oversight and responsibility of financial Performance of Division, overseeing development and management of annual budgets for each community in Division Provides on-site training as needed and leadership for associates and residents, proactively solving problems and issues Compiles daily, ensures all government regulations are adhered to Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with Divisional Operations personnel, sets the example for company's standards of excellence Adheres to all policies and procedures of the company Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisors Required Skills: We seek the following Qualifications: Education Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business or in a related field 5 + years supervisory experience in senior housing hospitality required, must understand older adult market 5 + years in a multi-facility role. Knowledgeable of all aspects of food service positions with Food and beverage background. High degree of accuracy in all assignments Ability to work independently and manage time effectively High degree of initiative and creativity, and good judgment. Employs professional work ethics, excellent communication skills and ability to motivate Ability to travel, work evenings, weekends Computer literate especially use of Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point Ability to work well under stress.
