Job Description:
Provides daily, immediate leadership for the various dining concepts. Responsible for the entire dining concept including serving area, production area, and maintenance of the facilities, furnishings and equipment. Must maintain sanitation, employee appearance, employee performance, and service standards within the dining concepts which our customers observe each meal. This area of responsibility is vital for the efficiency and professional management of concepts. Supervise the production of the food, which meets the quality standards of Residential Life. Responsible for financial readiness of each meal period. Must follow University and Residential Life Cash handling procedures. Responsible for the sanitation of the food service facility. Train, supervise, motivate, evaluate and discipline employees. Background Check Type: Criminal History Records Check Motor Vehicle Records Check Education and Experience Required Degree High School/GED Experience: 2 years related experience in the food service industry. And experience in supervision of an operation. Must know how to use industrial size equipment. Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses Must complete the Leadership Development Program within 3 years of hire date. Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Recognition of quality product and ability to problem solve. Good customer communication skills, good human relations skills, and training skills.
