Job Description:
Responsibilities:-Responsible for the day-to-day operation of multiple shift storehouse operation.-Assists in planning and overseeing par supply levels, equipment, supply and mail distribution, space allocation, equipment storage, transportation, inventory control, receiving and shipping, hiring, training and supervision. -Provides leadership and working support for employees in assigned storehouse operation.-Assists in preparing budgets, controlling expenses and ensuring efficient, effective performance of operation areas.Special conditions of employment: Class C California Drivers License Required.Qualifications:- Demonstrated knowledge of principles of supply chain management gained through prior experience as a supervisor or leader in inventory management.- Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of inventory management, including par level management.- Proficiency in the use of personal computers and standard office applications.- Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain Information systems.- Demonstrated ability to work with financial statements and manage payroll and operation expenses within budget.- Superior interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy and flexibility.- Strong analytical skills to analyze and report workload productivity, identify service requirements, and develop innovative solutions and make recommendations.- Excellent verbal and writing skills with the ability to compose written documentation in a clear, concise manner.- Ability to prioritize workload and make sound decisions in a timely manner.- Demonstrated ability to work independently.- Excellent leadership, supervisory, organizational and problem solving skills.- Knowledge of health care industry and clear understanding of customer service issues in an academic environment is preferred.
