Nurse Manager, NFP Program-Children and Family Services-Chinese Mandarin/Cantonese Reqd Responsibilities Responsible for managing the development, operations and quality of the NFP team, ensuring fidelity to the NFP model is consistent with NFP national and Department of Health and Mental Hygiene standards, Agency philosophy, policies, goals and objectives, and Standards of Nursing Practice. Ensures that NFP and Agency standards for service delivery and team performance are met or exceeded. Provides key leadership in facilitating and promoting the achievement of the NFP and VNSNY mission, guiding principles and philosophy of practice. Works under general supervision. License and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required. Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an approved program accredited by the National League of Nursing, Health or Human Services required. Masters degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of four years experience in a health care or human services program, inclusive of a minimum of two years of managerial experience, a minimum of one year working with new mothers and infants and a minimum of one year working in a community based or home visiting program required. Proficiency in personal computer operations including MS Office applications required.
