Is looking for a Business Development Manager to work in its corporate office based in midtown Manhattan. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with the Business Development team and executives from business units on a range of strategic projects and domestic and international acquisitions. Responsibilities will include:* Represent Kaplan in discussions with potential acquisition targets* Monitor performance of public and private companies in the broad education industry* Research and evaluate new markets for potential entry* Review and assess potential acquisition candidates* Assist in the performance of acquisition due diligenceRequirements:* Bachelor's degree + MBA preferred* Minimum 5 years works experience in finance (ideally at an investment bank or in a business development function)* Excellent research and analytical skills* Strong project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
