Job Description:
Business Resource Solutions, LLC is a shared services organization representing Eagle Applied Sciences, LLC for all Human Resource and recruiting activities. Eagle Applied Sciences, LLC is currently seeking candidates for the following opening: Nurse Practitioner.
Provides general medical care and treatment to patients, under direction of physician (includes when physician is out ofoffice) Actively participates in examining patients scheduled for examination appointments.
Assures operational readiness for emergency care/treatments.Performs medical evaluations and provides treatments for occupational and non-occupational medicine injuries and illnesses within scope of contract effort.
Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis,based on patient's condition.
Discusses case with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment as allowed by current license and or certification.
Collaborates with medical staff in planning evaluating coordinating and revising program and determines conditions resources and policies essential to delivery of health care services.
Assist Nursing staff with appropriate daily workload activities as directed by the staff physician and or Medical Director.
May refer patients to physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
Observe universal precautions regarding bloodborne pathogen program for patient protection and personal protection.
Observe regulatory agencies' standards regarding hazardous waste management/disposal.
Contact medical specialists regarding emergency and nonemergency referrals of patients.
Coordinate with ambulance support service/paramedic team concerning patient transport to medical specialists or local hospitals.
Perform computer medical data entry: patient visits, treatments and services administered, medical chart/records documentation.
Support annual influenza immunization program. Support annual blood pressure screening program.
Assess and perform advanced cardiac life support and treatment in accordance with latest standards and algorithms established by the medical authority of the American Heart Association.

Job Requirements:
Masters of Nursing from accredited university.
Three Years Occupational Health Nurse Experience (R.N.)
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner
Current CRNP License - State of Alabama
Basic Life Support Certifiedied
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified
Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist (COHN-S)
Participates in continuing education to update knowledge of
occupational health and safety including legal regulations
applicable to occupational health and safety.
