Job Description:
A leading innovator of technologies in the areas of sterilization, high level disinfection, cleaning of medical devices, and hand hygiene seeks a Technical Project Manager with 5+ years’ experience in a pharmaceutical industry including 3+ years of project leadership experience. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with the growth of business. Responsibilities includes: Provides cross-functional technical (preclinical, formulation, analytical, raw material, clinical fabrication) leadership and management in a matrix organization; development activities for projects from the pre-clinical phase through launch; manage the technical development of a project (and team where applicable) to meet the product development objectives (including feasibility assessment). Establishes project direction and resource requirements. Manage technical portion of the project budget. Reviews technical milestones and status of projects with senior management and external partners. Works with functional managers to ensure the right resources are assign to complete project tasks as well as assisting in the personal development of the individuals conducting the tasks. Performs other related duties as assigned by management such as safety and GMP. Adheres to environmental policy and procedures and supports department environmental objectives. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in a Science or related field; Ph.D. in a related technical field or M.B.A. preferred. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical or medical device development is required. Experience working on documents to support Regulatory submissions is preferred. A strong working knowledge of cGMP environment is essential.
