Job Description:
 A company manufacturing electrical power distribution and control equipment, hydraulic and fluid power products for aerospace, automotive, and other industrial uses seeks a Financial Analyst with 3-5 years of accounting/financial experience. The primary function of this position is the consolidation and analysis of aerospace division information, requests and timely submission of information to group analyst and group controller. This positions will also play a key role in profit plan and strategic plan, monthly aerospace division forecast, Sarbannes Oxley, market analysis, and liaison between plant/division financial analysts and finance management at aerospace headquarters. Consolidate and analyze aerospace division information with timely submission to group analyst and group controller. Prepare consolidated commentary and variance analysis for monthly, quarterly and yearly forecast requirements. Provide market analysis monthly for both sales and orders. Play a key role in annual profit plan and strategic planning process for aerospace division. Review schedules and reporting requests and provide consistent and constant feedback. Provide guidance to plants. Support the management team with relevant internal reporting and business support. Maintain compliance with accounting policies and reporting requests. Assist in the preparation of capital forecasts and plans. Assist with Excel 07/08 and integration analysis. Play an active role in responding to various requests for information and guidance from aerospace division management, fluid power group, and WHQ. The candidate should have B.S./B.A. degree. Requires specific knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP). Understanding of manufacturing operations and processes and the relationship business systems have to these operations and processes is essential. Should have in-depth understanding of information systems (Encore, DFT, Oracle Financials, Excel and PowerPoint) and there application within aerospace operations.
