As part of the Client’s QA Staff, you will be working with a small group of dedicated individuals responsible for more than just QA. This position is for a QA Analyst specializing in Integration Testing. This candidate will be primarily responsible for working directly with business analysts and the integration development team.
Specific duties and responsibilities include the following:
• Manual testing of new custom integrations.
• Review functional and technical documentation in order to identify requirements for the creation of test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Create, modify and execute precise manual test cases to business requirements for new application functionality.
• Create test data to support application testing when required.
• Analyze testing results, identify and report root causes for test failures by working with the development team.
• Submit, track and validate defects in a tracking system.
• Assist Application Developers and technical support staff in identifying and resolving problems.
• Work with deployment team participating in after-hours deployments and quality assurance testing efforts to test production environment updates before they are distributed.
• Collaborate with team members to research and recommend new features.
• Make recommendations to improve product reliability, performance, and quality assurance best practices and processes.
• Provide regular status reports to supervisor and project management, updating tasks and tasks estimates, as necessary.
• Manage tasks according to prescribed project priorities.


Job Requirements:
Requirements include the following:
• 2-5 years of Manual testing experience to include creating test plans; test cases; white/black box testing of custom integrations.
• Must have experience in tracking software defects; creating metrics; and status reports on the testing process.
• Work well with the other QA analysts, software developers, and business analysts.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong organization and project/task management skills.
• Self-starter, ability to work independently and within a team.
• Quick learner as this candidate will need to grasp the integrations as well as the other systems/processes within the Company that support the integrations.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple projects within different contexts.
• Present good image of department and company to customers, clients, and staff.
• College degree in Business or Systems related fields or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SQL, XML\XSL, HTTP, FTP is desired.
• Development experience or exposure is desired.
