Job Description: Position Statement: You will primarily be responsible for food preparation, and ensuring that kitchen standards regarding food preparation, quality control and cleanliness are maintained.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; •Load & unload dishwasher •Ensure all kitchenware is cleaned to hygienic and required standard. •Sweeping, washing floor, taking out garbage Under the direction and guidance of the Chef, Sous Chef or designated cooks; will assist in; •Food preparation, ensuring that kitchen standards regarding food prep are met •Stocking the line, •Presentation of both hot and cold food, •Baking, making sauces, & banquet preparations. •Quality control and cleanliness standards are met
Job Requirements: Skills/Knowledge/Experience: •Knowledge of hygienic standards for kitchens and food preparation. •Working knowledge of food preparation and presentation. •Ability to form and maintain effective working relationships. •Flexibility with work schedules.
