Job Description:
The construction manager will assist in planning, directing and coordinating a variety of capital construction projects and may oversee an entire project or just part of one. Responsibilities: • Manage the planning, design and delivery of the project. • Evaluate and determine appropriate construction methods and the most cost-effective plan and schedule. • Monitor effective administration of construction contracts for the engineering, procurement and construction of projects • Monitor effective administration of the on-site QA/QC and Safety programs • Effectively process and administered changes (change management) • Maintain project schedule, budget and field reports. • Assist in the enforcement of budget and schedule controls throughout the project, as appropriate. • Track and control construction cost against the project budget to avoid overruns. • Work with the PM to maintain updated project economics and other project information. Prepare and periodical present reports to the PM. • Facilitate site visits. Additional Requirements: * Bachelor\'s degree in construction science, construction management, civil engineer or related field.* 3 years experience in related construction management or project engineering, management responsibility for projects up to $5M.
