Exceptional People, Exceptional Opportunity, Exceptionally Cannon Design Cannon Design, an award winning international design firm, offers an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Construction Administrator in a dynamic, team focused work environment in our Buffalo, NY office. Minimum 10+ years experience in healthcare and education projects, with excellent track record in contract administration and management, construction quality monitoring and cost control. Successful candidate will demonstrate ability to administer contracts from startup of construction to closeout, as primary contact between CMs/general contractors, architect/engineer and Owner. Tasks include review and interpretation of construction documents, preparation of change orders, review, answer and expediting of RFI's and submittals, review and approval of applications for payment, QA/QC through periodic site visits, coordination meetings and other construction administration related tasks. Strong client, communication, teamwork, collaboration and conflict resolution skills required. Bachelor of Architecture required, MArch preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD preferred. Knowledge of electronic project management software (Expedition/Prolog) highly desired. Revit or other BIM software and/or LEED certification a plus.
