Job Description:
The Manager of Educational Programs is a new position. Job responsibilities include: * Managing education function, including serving as the staff liaison for the Education Committee and developing educational workshops and webinars. * Meeting Planning. Current meetings include 6-8 educational workshops throughout the year, Summer Management Conference for 100 of our top leaders, 8-10 roundtable meetings of 12-25 people throughout the year, and 2-3 Board meetings per year. * Managing our roundtables, including recruitment of new roundtable members and assisting members with using our software. * Developing new services that are outlined in our strategic plan. In some cases, this means working with a task force of volunteers. In other cases, it means searching for a partner to develop educational material. NOTES: Local Residents Preferred (No Relo). Salary depends upon experience. Requirements * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is strongly preferred, but consideration will also be given to non-degreed individuals with significant experience in meeting planning or program development. * Demonstrated ability to plan a variety of educational meetings. * Ability to travel occasionally (once or twice per month) and rarely overnight (4-5 times per year). * Understanding of volunteer management.
