This position is for the Transportation Business Group (TBG) of CH2M HILL Constructors, Inc. Desired candidate will have 3 years transportation experience with an emphasis in structural field engineering. Will also provide technical engineering information to company supervision and crafts to insure construction complies with all engineering standards. Learns to prepare competitive bids and cost estimates consistent with corporate guidelines, procedures, practices in appropriate WBS and in conformance with client requirements. Performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic principles of estimating. Prepares, maintains and disseminates project data and documents, including drawings, specifications, test results, status reports, material requirement calculation, reviews all design drawings and equipment specifications and makes daily field inspections. May assist with preparing project chart of accounts, cost coding of invoices and verifying requests for payment of subcontractors. Verifies all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings, specifications. Performs additional assignments per supervisor�s direction. QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering with prior construction experience. A drug test and standard background check is required. 3 years structural field engineering preferred in Highway/Bridge Construction.
