Job Description:
The Mechanical/Electrical Operations Engineer will determine the manufacturability of electromechanical integration of new product development and proto-type hardware associated with enclosure layouts in support of the build of high performance data links for L-3 Communications - a leader and prime defense contractor in Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and secure communications. Competencies: The Mechanical/Electrical Operations Engineer will provide positive feedback to Engineering on solutions to enhance producability changes in new prototype design and redesign of aged products. Demonstrated experience with solid edge, 2D-3D model, and drawing conversions. Excellent understanding and interpretation of technical and detailed documentation including electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and instructions. Skilled in technical problem solving and understand military specifications for indoor and outdoor applications. Experienced qualifications in flow documentation, hardware selection, design specifications, and systems integration. Provide excellent customer service to a variety of internal and external customers. Capable of working in a fast-paced and high-accuracy environment while remaining calm and effective.
