We have been retained by our client, in their search for an ASP.net Developer, this is a Full time direct hire opportunity. Located in Clifton Park, NY. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Ideal candidate will be a self starter with a high sense of urgency. This position is for a great company with opportunity for growth and an excellent benefits package.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
• Analyzes and interprets functional requirements and specifications, working heavily with senior engineers and the management team
• Development of software in ASP.net, MYSQL and VB.
• Will contribute to the development and conceptual designs
• Implementing defined applications components customer features business logic and user interfaces.
• Interacts with databases specialists to construct SQL queries
• Works heavily with customer support, documentation, and QA departments to resolve any issues.
• Builds and deploys test application components for quality assurance
• Tests debugs and fixes application components in a development environment
• Provides guidance to lower level engineers
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Education:
• Must have 3+ years professional software development experience in ASP.net, MMSQL and VB
• Demonstrated ability in debugging and testing software.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to rapidly assimilate technical knowledge
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
