Job Description:
Think Energy, a rapidly growing renewable energy consulting firm, is interested in hiring an experienced individual to lead the company's business development/sales efforts. The Vice President of Business Development will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for identifying, obtaining, and negotiating new contracts for the products and services of Think Energy. Think Energy provides analysis and purchasing support to large energy users interested in cost-effective clean energy; product, service, and business development to clean energy companies; legislative strategy guidance, and greenhouse gas accounting and management.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of business development/sales experience in the renewable energy sector and will possess a number of strong corporate and government contacts. The individual will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, public speaking experience, strong interpersonal skills, initiative, creativity and an ability to work under tight deadlines. This candidate may work from Think Energy's Silver Spring, MD office or from Southern California.
