The responsibilities of this position include: Manage the department and quality and productivity Ensure schedules in order to meet on time delivery requirements Performance management Provide support and guidance to optimize machining Performance Plan details of the materials and machinery needed to meet and order and estimate timescales and production cost. Maintain thorough knowledge of all production processes and equipment. Understand manufacturing processes and quality standards Must be hands-on, able to operate as well as supervise. May participate in estimating fabrication times required for quoting Making quick, clear decisions while under pressure Work to deadlines. Qualifications: 5+ machine shop experience, including supervision Must be a machining expert Strong background with Manual, as well as, CNC mills and Lathes Knowledgeable in welding and grinding. Minimum of a 2 year Technical Degree. Strong Oral and written communication skills. Outstanding project management and organizational skills. Outstanding project management and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to produce results according to project budgets and schedules.
