Job Description:
Technical Responsibilities: Provide all aspects of production line support to programmable logic controlled assembly equipment for the paper cone manufacturing and trimming operation to ensure daily production schedules are met. Responsibilities include diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution of equipment issues, determining root causes and driving corrective action to minimize equipment down-time. Other daily responsibilities include monitoring/recording statistical process control measurements, interfacing with system controls to make adjustments and optimize operating parameters (i.e. sensors, valves, temperature controllers, die set alignment, etc.), executing requirements of daily start-up checklists, equipment/tooling/product changeovers, spare parts ordering, and performing preventative maintenance and calibration. Regular daily inspection of product coming off the machines is required to insure that product quality is aligned with our customer\'s expectations.The successful applicant will follow a full time, 40 hour schedule in a multi-shift, 24x7 manufacturing facility. This shift is scheduled from 5pm to 5am. Skills *Prior supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.*Ability to work in a 24x7 manufacturing environment, including non-standard shifts and weekends. *Strong schematic reading and interpretation experience and skills. *Experience with repair of motorized conveyers and piping systems.*Must possess strong problem solving, interpersonal communication, and decision-making skills. *Must possess good PC skills and be fully competent in MS Office tools including, Outlook, Excel, Word etc.*Experience with robotic motion controllers, pneumatics, sensors, hydraulics, and electromechanical troubleshooting skills are a plus Education *Associate\'s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent work experience.
