Qualifications EDUCATION: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in related field; Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred. EXPERIENCE: Between 7 years and 10 years prior related experience in heavy equipment manufacturing. Must have 5 years to 7 years of management experience. Comprehensive knowledge of machine maintenance and tools operation. SKILLS: Proficiency with computers including MS Office products, CAD / CAM Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, conducting time studies and related systems Excellent problem solving skills, judgment and decision making skills Ability to develop and implement improvements quickly Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time Good verbal and written communication skills, including instruction / procedure writing Strong math and reading skills Demonstrated leadership ability Ability to manage projects and work as a team
