Our growth as a supplier/partner in multiple industries, medical, automotive, electronics, has allowed us to concentrate and build our core competencies - customer service, engineering and design, tooling design, build and maintenance, program management, and contract manufacturing including secondary operations such as sonic welding, along with clean room molding and packaging. Â We have 2 productions sites located in Hayward, CA: Medical/Device Production Manufacturing Supervisor/Lead ( 2 nd shift) Summary Production supervisor/lead to work with in facility to supervise, oversee and team members. Will be responsible for safety, quality, productivity, efficient and on the job training. Will be creating diverse reports, enforce performance standards and processes. Must maximize production objectives and ensure that efficiency, productivity and quality meet superior standards.Must be able to communicate effectively written and spoken in English.Will be resolving employee related issues or submit them to HR action. Will monitor and measure the work performance of direct reports. Must be able to acquire first hand knowledge of team members' skills and abilities. Must be able to provide direct technical support to production and assist with all manufacturing and quality related issues. Experience in Lean or Sigma Manufacturing is a plus. Required Skills- Supervisor:: 5-7 Years Supervision, Strong Communication, knowledgeable of assembly procedures, policies, guidelines. Must have solid computer skills, ability to train, coach, motivate and serve as mentor to department staff. Previous experience working in a plastic injection molding environment highly desirable. Understand concepts experience with job rotation. We follow the TPS, JIT-Kanban system- familiarity with these concepts and experience highly desirable.
