POSITION: Director JOB CODE: BCAT: 193X00 DEPARTMENT: Quality Enhancement Plan (Academic Affairs) SALALRY RANGE: Commensurate with qualifications and experience (Sponsored funds) APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 13, 2008 or until the position is filled QUALIFICATIONS: Doctorate degree in English with specialization in rhetoric & composition is preferred; Doctorate degree in English is required; significant teaching, research and/or administrative experience; demonstrated competence in integrating technologies into writing instruction; knowledge of computer technology; excellent oral & written communication skills; proven record of teaching & granstmanship ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLES OF WORK: * Directs and organizes the activities of the QEP program * Manages a budget and supervises and evaluating QEP staff * Serves as a resource for faculty and the University community * Prepares program reports * Coordinates efforts with other academic units and support services * Collaborates with general education faculty and staff * Continues a program of professional staff development APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Current federal law requires identification and eligibility verification prior to employment.
