Job Description:
 A creator and developer of upscale lifestyle brands online seeks an Interactive Art Director with 3-5 years of professional web design experience working for a design firm or having an extensive client portfolio. The candidate will oversee the award-winning sites. The candidate should understand the design issues and objectives of a project and be able to create a design vision that is sophisticated and user-friendly. Types of projects include: Websites, email blasts and Flash animations that support advertiser programs, as well as internal marketing, advertising and sales materials. Should have keen sense of design, color and typography. Training (formal or exemplary) in typography, interactive design, information design and other creative disciplines is required. Prefer experience with Flash ActionScripting, HTML coding and CSS, a design degree (BFA/MFA in graphic design, digital media design or other visual arts), and print design experience.
