Job Description:
 A company providing architecture and civil engineering services seeks a Senior Architect with 8+ years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for applying intensive and diversified knowledge of Architectural principles and practices in broad areas. Use advanced techniques, theory precepts and practices in the architectural field and related sciences and disciplines. This level includes technical direction over a group of Architects and/or a technical specialist, responsible for researching, planning, designing, and administering variety of building projects (commercial, health care, retail/distribution, institutional) for public and/or private clients. Coordinate design and technical activities with architects, engineers, and other departments in the company participating in a project. Serve as a technical specialist, staff advisor, and consultant. Carry out complex assignments requiring the development of new or improved architectural techniques or procedures to create new or refined equipment, materials, processes, or methods. Prepare project designs and plans using computer assisted design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop and Illustrator. May supervise Architects and support personnel. Evaluate performance; assign and schedule work; establish project priorities and standards; and provide technical support of project work. Hold membership in professional associations and participate on company committees. Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required. Must be licensed as a Registered Architect (R.A.).
