Project Manager-Power Plant/Construction/Program Job Location: CANONSBURG, PA Large Engineering & Construction company is looking for a Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager to manage their power plant construction projects in Illinois. You need to have 20+ years of experience in the power generation industry and at least 10 years of experience managing large power plant EPC or CM projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with coal fired power plant projects and FGD (flue gas desulfurization) projects. You will be in charge of multiple projects in Illinois and will be the main interface with the client. A BS degree in Engineering, Construction or related area is considered a plus. Any CPM (Certified Project Manager) or a PMI/PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications would be considered a plus. You will be involved throughout the project cycle, coordinating all engineering input for the initial bid to the customer, preparing a detailed project budget and managing final execution of the project?s cost. You are expected to track the project against the schedule, budget & phase review objectives and give a status report to the customer & executive staff on a regular basis. You can live anywhere in IL or close to the IL boarder (like St. Louis) since you will be traveling to all of your projects in this state. Previous experience working for large EPC firms like KBR, FLOUR, ABB Lummus, Bechtel, Black & Veatch, Burns & McDonnell, or a similar firm would be ideal.
