Job Description:
Our firm has made a commitment to designing and producing project documents using Revit/BIM applications and we are seeking a person to oversee the development and user support of Revit as well as other architectural software. The Design Technology Manager will support all 4 Rossetti offices and can WORK OUT OF ANY LOCATION - Detroit, Los Angeles, Newport Beach or Denver. Occasional travel to all offices will be required. ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with Rossetti Directors and Software Engineers to research and determine applicable software tools for staff and project needsAssist with implementation and development of a full range of design related software, including AutoCad, Revit, 3Dstudio, Rhino, Sketchup, etc. Develop, update and document software upgrades, standards, configurations and best practices and train staff in all offices Assess issues, produce solutions and create efficiency related to design technology and productionManage software procurement, licensing and implementation, with consideration for competitive pricing and legal compliance Requirements5 + years of strong proficiency using AutoCad and design-related software supporting architectural projects and users2+ years experience using and/or supporting Revit or BIM applications requiredStrong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal communication skills for training and written skills for documentationFocus on strategic thinking, learning and planning Cover letter and resume may be submitted to
