Job Description:

The Intermediate Architectural Designer will be responsible for:Translating clients' functional and spatial requirements for structures into feasible design solutions.Preparing sketches, working drawings, architectural detail specifications for concept design presentations and presentation packages using 2D/3D software, including AutoCAD, REVIT, 3D Studio MAX, FormZ, PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator.Applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials in the resolution of complex technical and design issues as they arise.Coordinating with mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and structural consultants to incorporate engineering systems into unified design for client and agency review and approval.Design team guidance, leadership and mentorship. The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications to be considered:Must be a licensed Architect.7 years or greater architect designer experience.Possess knowledge of building codes, standards and structures.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.Strong leadership abilities and the ability to manage teams and projects.Strong organizational skills.
