Job Description:
 A provider of print and promotional products seeks a Graphic Designer with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. The candidate uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets such as websites and CD-ROMs. Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs. Provides creative development and graphic design for all promotional collateral, including media kits, brochures, rate cards, space ads, one-sheets, direct mail packages, trade show flyers, web banners and other materials. Creates promotional materials, including concept, design, integration of materials, electronic layout, scanning, revisions/corrections and related functions necessary to complete graphic production. Assists with the inter-department trafficking of promotional projects. Delivers completed materials to printers and other outside vendors/clients. Maintains quality control, including copy input, copy corrections, spell check, electronic pre-press, pre-flights and other quality measures. Reviews proofs and printing blue lines for errors, making necessary corrections. Organizes and maintains creative project files, both physical and digital for easy access and retrieval. Ensures that brand identity is properly represented in all creative pieces. Coordinates with production department on printing decisions, including expense quotes, paper stocks. A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required. Extensive knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, HTML and other graphic desktop publishing software is required. Knowledge and experience in production art, printing, electronic pre-press, promotion and advertising is needed. Some familiarity with Word, and Excel is essential. Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
