 A publicly traded owner and operator of apartment communities seeks a Director of Finance with 10+ years of experience in the field. The candidate will be responsible for directing a division accounting functions. Typically reports to top management. Development and maintenance of planning and budgeting systems, analysis and interpretation of trends requiring management attention, the preparation of financial management reports and procedures, and the presentation of findings and specific recommendations to senior management. Responsible for directing a division accounting functions. The candidate should have Advanced degree. Should be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Requires knowledge of complex principles and procedures and their application. Knowledge of principles, methods and procedures of governmental accounting, budgeting and financial management is essential. CPA Preferred.
