Job Description:

Must be familiar with oil and gas handling facilities design and offshore construction techniques. Must be familiar with API, ASME, ANSI and other standards that are integral to the design and fabrication of oil and gas facilities. Ability to handle projects from initiation through job completion, i.e., project planning, permitting, scheduling, cost estimating, and execution. Good working knowledge base on projects associated with offshore production operations, i.e., piping, valves, structural modifications, coatings, cathodic protection, diving projects, pipeline installations, platform salvages, etc. Strong understanding of project management planning, scheduling, and cost control. Ability to take periodic trips offshore and occasionally travel to attend meetings, review work in progress, etc. Job Requirements: Minimum of 15 years in the offshore oil & gas construction industry Graduate from an accredited College of Engineering with a Bachelors of Science degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering. Registration as an Engineer is preferred, but not required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project. Position requires a high degree of initiative and team work. Incumbent must have the ability and interest to learn how to work effectively with new hardware and software Incumbent must be able to deal logically and effectively with departmental personnel, and management.
