Summary We are seeking an energetic, team-oriented, hands-on person to work with a Project Manager to implement large scale solar systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This person will be responsible for implementing essential project management tasks for projects throughout the Western United States. Some activities include subcontractor selection, support on design and BOM management, and project documentation.Education and Experience •Candidates must have commercial construction project management experience and/or education and excellent administrative skills. They must demonstrate ability to take initiative and follow through with assigned tasks. In addition, candidates must be able to read blueprints and electrical diagrams and work well with subcontractors, designers, and construction managers. Experience with steel structures, electrical contracting, and solar or renewable energy is preferred.Qualifications A minimum of one year of commercial construction experience and/or two years of related education is required. An interest or experience in alternative energy, distributed generation, energy efficiency, and/or green building is a plus. Familiarity with MS Project and MS suite of software is preferred.
